Monday Memo| Detail No.153| April 05, 2025

Updated: May 19

“You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

There’s something sacred about beginnings — not the loud, dramatic kind — but the quiet, intentional ones. The kind that whispers, “Just start.” This Monday, we shift our focus from outcomes to initiation, from pressure to permission.

Momentum doesn’t require a masterpiece. It needs a moment. Just one. That moment when you decide to write the first paragraph, send the email, drink the water, or open the book. It doesn’t need to be perfect. It needs to exist. Too often, we wait for clarity, motivation, or the ‘right time.’ But clarity often comes after action, not before. Progress waits for no perfect condition. And momentum isn’t built in leaps — it begins in inches.

So here’s your gentle challenge: Don’t overthink it. Don’t wait for another month or the first of the month. Don’t create a 10-step plan before step one. Just move. Today. Even if it’s for 15 minutes. That small act done without drama, but with intention becomes your spark. And once that spark is lit, momentum begins to rise.

Ask yourself: What’s one thing I’ve been putting off and how can I start it today in the simplest way possible? It’s not about doing everything. It’s about doing something and letting that something lead the way.
